    Howdy folks!

I'm in the process of gathering parts for my first oil change on my 2010 VFR1200 DCT.
I'm aware that I should be replacing both oil filters when doing the oil change, but unaware of any additional gaskets/parts I should replace "while I'm in there".

I plan to replace the following fluids this fall:
    -engine oil and filters
    -coolant
-rear diff fluid (i have the replacement fill and drain gaskets)
-hydraulic fluid for front and rear brakes (plan on running DOT 4 as suggested from Honday).

    Any advise/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Sorry BMW. I can't help you with that. But I recommend that if you are planning to keep this bike for a while, and do as much service as you can, a factory Service Manual would be a wise investment. You will have all you answers in there. Failing that, there are Haynes Manuals available for far less than the Service Manual. You should be able to get by with one of those for most of what you want to do. I have both for my 6th Gen and use both.

What part of the frigid north are you from? If the west coast, we should get together for coffee, beer or what ever.

    Thanks Randy,
I was just hoping someone had a few suggestions off the top of their head.
I have a factory service manual I bought online for the 1200F version, but it doesn't have anything about the clutch filter specs. I'll do a litle more digging online.

I'm located in dt Vancouver, near Stanley Park.
When I get my bike out next season, we certainly should meet up!

You are more persistent than my mother when she was trying to fix me up with a date when I was in my early teens. I think your were about 30 years old then.

For sure. I live in the suburbs of Chilliwack, right next to the fields that gets nourished by the farmers spraying liquid black gold on the fields. A bus load of blind people would know where they were as they pass through here in the Trans Canada.
