It has to be around 350 by now, 364 dry originally.
I should weigh it when I go to work on it.

    "dry"

That's like talking about how much it weighs on the moon.

    :p

Yeah, dry weight is always a joke. How does dry effect anything other than shipment from country to country.

It's technically a real number that the manufacturer can tout. No engine oil, fuel, fork oil, coolant, brake fluid, battery acid...
I've even read not any magic smoke in the charging / electrical system.

    Irrelevant, but real number.

image.jpg I agree it is mostly to impress.
I think with the subframe shorty and aluminum, 1/2 weight fiberglass, 1/2 weight tyga full exhaust, 1/4 weight lighting I am closer to 350 wet.
Photo to come, but 71 km later she is facking amazing! Night and day. The handling is out of this world with stock settings and equipment. Brakes are next year since these with do for everything but track day, but I declare she is done for a while!

Rebuilt my leaking forks, rebuilt the coolant system, rebuilt and re-jetted carbs that had been “rebuilt”...uh huh, proper front axle (eeeeek), new cables which fixed my clutch, throttle, choke, idle issues. New throttle tube ( since the original was sticky), and made myself a suede seat with softer foam.

I competed 71kms and reached 180kph at one point (almost maxed out the speedo).
I think I left the spring off of the idle adjust because it keeps raising to 1.6k. Not terrible, but just enough to be annoying.
My flat spot between 6-7.5 k is gone.
Handling is amazing, but could be better with the correct rear tire size. I am running 160 and it should be 150. Another day kind of problem.
Brakes are better, but I should get new discs, pads, and rebuild the calipers. Another day kind of problem. :)

All in all I am super happy. I may ditch the mirrors and go with bar end mirrors instead. not sure on that. For now, just ride and enjoy. Oh and can anyone find the missing sticker from the bike (not the rest of the Honda logo)?
