Hi, sorry for my English, I'm using a translator. I just bought a VFR about 500km from my home in Spain, but the bike let me down at 300km. I was coming down the road at 100km/h, and suddenly, the rev counter dropped to 0. I pulled over and the bike wouldn't start, showing signs of a dead battery. I already knew it. The regulator, damn, I knew they were guilty of that, but it didn't last me even 250km. The owner says he's not responsible, he already told me it had been stopped for a while and needed a check. Anyway... well, after a week, a tow truck brought the bike to a trusted garage, and I already had the battery. Sure enough, some of the battery caps had popped out from the pressure from boiling. I put in the new battery, started it, and looked at the voltage the bike was giving out. 17.5 v and at half speed 18....I disconnected the regulator and came back with the battery voltage (the lights were also blown). I live nearby, 10 km, and I arrived without any problems. I have a regulator ordered, it was between this one https://ultimaterectifier.com/es/producto/regulador-de-tension-rectificador-honda-vfr800-1998-2009/
and this one https://www.electrostator.com/en/tl...0r-tl1000s-honda-cbr600-hurricane-vfr800.html and I decided on the second one, I didn't know that the best one I could put is the sh847, I thought it only had to be a MOSFET

The problem I have now is that the water in the speedometer has stayed on the other side of the stop, at 280 we go, when I turn on the ignition, it tries to go to 0, but it is at the stop, and when you ride the bike, it stays There, at the top, obviously. I swear I've never been at 200, haha. No matter how hard I search for information, I can't find anything, and from what I can see, I don't see anyone breaking anything because of the regulator's overvoltage... curious.
Anyway, I'll see if I can upload a photo of the bike.
