What's this and where does it go?

    Hi All;
    Finally getting back to putting my 2009 VFR800 together and I see a wire coming from the back of the dash. I don't know what it is or where it goes.

    That looks like the air temperature sensor, located right in the underside of the fairing nose. The diagram is a bit rubbish but it pokes out through the bottom of the fairing aimed at the front wheel. air temp.jpg
