While I have never done it, when I had my RC36-I and II stripped down to engine and frame (essentially), they look identical. The frames are very different, but the mount locations I'm pretty sure are the same.

i can say from experience that a gen3 engine will not hookup to an '86/'87 vfr frame properly. one or two mounts line up, but doesnt get near some other mounting points. gearshift lever jams against left lower frame.

    Slipped in with no issues.
Even used the 96 bolts and all!
May even use the 96 wire harness a78e1865-867d-411d-bd2c-2269e0665731photo.png.jpeg

I have a stubborn broken stud!
Don't want to brake the boss.
What tool we need for this ?
vice grips and heat didn't do it.

Oftimes the best way is to weld a nut to the stud, then attempt the removal after it cools down.

If it was me I would also soak it with a penetrating oil like PB Blaster for a day or two.

I have these extractors, they look like a chrome socket but inside they have these flats that are supposed to grip the threads of offending broken stud. OTC might make it. Good luck, penetrating oil and time is your friend. Good Luck. You still running the rear disk brake that I sent you?

I sometimes wonder if an impact driver might do something good (after welding an nut to it so there is something to engage with)

It's out and on the the next delema.
The harness connectors are all reversed...
    Male not female plugs.
    When doing the rear pipes...
Always remove the shock AND wheel.
