Question about plastik to VFR-2

My plastic is not repairable, and there are no sidewalls at all. It is practically impossible to get another one in my conditions. Even if I find it abroad, the price will be 2-2.5 times higher. I heard somewhere that for my VFR 750 88 year for Europe with modifications, the plastic from VFR 400 is suitable. Can anyone tell me if this is true?

 

"with modifications" is very subjective. I highly suspect it would be substantial, not minimal, looking at the two bikes.

I have never heard of that being a thing before.

But "with modifications", almost anything is possible.
