Acceptable coolant loss due to temp?

    After I changed the coolant on my 7th gen, it seems that the overflow tank is a bit low.

    Since the cooling system on the 7th gen isn't sealed, is it possible that coolant is being lost due to expansion?
    The engine is certainly as hot (as I've read other folks are dealing with), but still within the acceptable range for on the temp gauge.
