Has anyone had success swapping carbs. .say from an 85 ,500f to a 85 ,750f .
Would swapping the 750 jets and needles into the 500 bodies work?
Or would that be a nightmare to tune in.
Reason being i have a mixture needle broke off in the 750 rack.
Just pondering an easy cheap fix being i have the extra set of carbs .
Any thoughts on my best plan of attack besides buying a new carb , if i can avoid it.
unless there is a way to get it out but im sure it will end up junk as there is nothing to grip, besides drilling it out. and fat chance at that.
    any thoughts?
    thanks if you do.

It is possible to drill it out. Very difficult yes, but doable. My brother-in-law did it on an 85 VF700F.
