The bike is near perfect but speedo is way off, like 8 mpg+ Seems to lessen at higher speeds so at like 80 reads 85. Anyone else have this? Bike is all stock 21k miles.

Is my brain working right that gearing can affect this? You can change what speed you are actually going for a given counter shaft bolt rotation sensor reading.

Yes gearing changes will affect the relationship between how many turns of the countershaft (where the speed sensor is) vs wheel rotations. Speedos do generally read on the higher side anyway. If the gearing was raised (e.g. smaller rear sprocket) that would bring the two more into line. I've not used one, but I believe Healtech offer speedo healers for this very reason.

changing the rolling diameter of the front tire will change mph reading on my bikes.

ok yeah seems to be a common issue. Seemed alittle too far off but the bike is 100% stock tires and sprockets. Nothing i care to correct as my phone is mounted for true MPH.
