The 2006 vfr I just bought has a broken rear left turn signal. From what it seems like, the entire rear brake light and turn signals are one assembly. If anyone has one laying around or know of a source that is reasonably priced, please let me know. Bonus if it is the period correct color (clear turn signals). I found one on eBay but it's from Australia and very pricey. Plus the new tariffs makes it ridiculous.

Hope to find one local in the USA. Thanks!

Ronayer's sells them 33710-MCW-H01 for $326.62 and I think shipping is free over $129. Who knows how long Honda will continue to make them.

Thanks. I did find that the other day and at that price, I think I can live with a broken left signal housing until a decent used one can be sourced. I'd rather spend that money on gas for the miles and smiles.

I suspect any OEM parts for a 6th gen are gong to start creeping up in value. I know the 6th gen is the most widely sold generation of the VFR but that also means they will be in the highest demand for used parts. And Honda is already no longer producing OEM body parts. Fenders and cowlings are no longer available at the major parts shops or from Honda themselves. That means the demand for good used parts is increasing.

Of course there are many after market parts out there. A lot of them are very poor quality. I ordered an upper cowl for mine noticing that they were shipped from France. I thought I would be saving myself from getting the poor shit from China. But it was very poor quality as well. There is going to be some body work done to it to correct the dimples in that piece. The holes look like they are going to need some minor mods or at least, cleaning up before it will fit nicely on my bike.

Now getting back to your tail light/signal light assembly. I was looking at replacing mine years ago with a clear smoked unit. But they were from Germany, no English on the description and all around, not worth the hassle. I think the price was quite high too.

    Good luck.

You most likely received the same China stuff after it has gone thru a French middleman with an upcharge. I recently bought luggage racks for my KTM390 Adventure thru a Canadian ebay seller thinking I'll get my stuff faster from Canada. Paid in Canadian dollars and all. Nope, I received the rack shipped directly from the manufacturer in India.

As for the tail light, I can wait. There's bound to be people wrecking their 6th gens soon enough to start filling up parts yards.

Sadly, I suspect you are right on the money. But I will do what I need to do to my baby. This thing got my cherry. It is the very first bike I ever rode. I was a slow learner in school too. I bought it in the crate in 2006. It is now sitting with over 234,000 km on the odo and I think there is much more to be had.
