    1987 Honda VFR700F2, Ready to ride, completely gone through with all new Speigler lines, all fluids replaced, HP4 10w40, Honda coolant, Showa 10w fork oil, forks all rebuilt with all new bushings and Progressive springs, new tapered steering stem bearings, carbs rebuilt w/DynoJet Stage 2 jet kit with K&N air filter and modified air box, F1R slip-on’s that sound AMAZING, new battery and tires are good. Bike has 53K on it but looks like it has 5K on it. Very well maintained, this bike was rode and not parked. This bike is a good one if you want one ready to go. Any questions PM me. I know what I have!! lol

    These older VFRs are getting hard to sell. The ceiling is about $3500 it would seem. The youth doesn't know what they are about. They are only looking at cost.

    My initial thoughts were:

    1. The classified needs more photos - especially given the work done on it - why not put it on display?

    2. Really nice complete bike in mostly original condition in a very desirable color for these vintage VFRs

    3. No mention about title - always important to include: "have clean Ohio-based title in my name"

    4. The fact that the bike is in rideable condition - needs nothing - carries significant value

    5. The price sounds favorable/fair to both parties...buyer and seller - based on what I can see.

    ==========

    When I start selling some of mine off - I hope they are near comparable overall condition and would hope to ask for the same amount - except I'm thinking I will start at $4K and be ready to take as low as $3.5K, if warranted

    Just looked and he added a pretty decent walk around and start video. Looks & sounds REALLY nice!

    If it was local I would happily offer full price to trailer or ride her home. Transport cost precludes that for me, especially given I currently have 4 white ones in almost the same condition.....

    If someone was looking for one, that sure seems like a strong candidate that has few, if any, question marks.

    Price is right imo.

    Just checked and the bike hasn't sold yet, which is surprising to me.

    The seller has dropped the asking price $500 and added this to his listing:

    I’m going to throw in a Corbin seat, a factory Honda service manual and extra set of wheels to help sweeten the deal. If I can’t get $3000.00 for it with all the work that is done to this VFR, I will just keep it. People with these crazy offers don’t seem to realize how much parts cost, let alone the labor invested. This bike is a steal at $3000. It needs nothing, IT IS READY TO RIDE!! If you want a $1500 dollar fixer upper this bike is not for you. Please!!! No more low ball offers
