I've got all the bolts removed to take the cover off but it won't budge. Any tips??? Don't want to pry on anything and bend something.

Are you referring to the right crankcase cover to access the starter clutch?

All that holds the clutch cover on the crankcase is the bolts and two dowels, then the gasket. I have always had success by tapping on the case with a rubber hammer from the front and back; if you listen, you can generally hear a change in tone when the case lets go, then some wiggling to get the case off the dowels.

There may well be a pry point to the front underside but I've never needed to go there.

There typically is, near the starter motor. I don't use it as a pry point, but if it's needed I come across from the other side with a wood dowel or tool handle used as a drift to give it a "pop".
