Up for grabs is this legendary, extremely rare, unmolested 1985 Honda VF500F "baby ceptor."
This vintage 40 year old is part of my personal collection and has been restored, meticulously maintained, serviced and ridden by me since I acquired it in 2018 from the original owner.
I am a member of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle club (VJMC). The bike has a clean California title, is fully operational, and in excellent condition.
    It's ready to ride .
Every bit as relevant now as it was 40 years ago. This is the best Interceptor of the 4 models produced. Perfect balance of horsepower and weight. One of the best handling and cornering bikes ever made.
It has newer tires and the other wearables are in good riding condition as required for a properly maintained vintage machine.
Clutch, brakes, battery, chain, recently changed oil and filters all in good running condition.
All radiator hoses have been replaced and fresh coolant added.
The brakes have new drilled rotors front and back, upgraded stainless steel brake lines, and newer pads.
All of the electrical components have been upgraded with modern technology. HP Ignition modules and Rick's electric voltage regulator/rectifier. I will include the stock parts for spares.
These bike's are getting rare, and this model in particular, is becoming highly collectible.
Honda dominated the Superbike series, with Freddie Spencer in the pilot seat, for 3 years when these bikes arrived.
    The first truly factory Superbike.
Turn heads, and it does, with this vintage winner.
I have a few extras that come with the bike (shop manual, plugs, oil filters and a few extra parts).
You will not find a nicer example of this model anywhere and if you do, buy it.
These older vintage bikes are investments at this point.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
Must be a licensed motorcycle rider, test rides cost $4500 cash in hand. Bring your own PPE.
Serious buyers only, no joyrides, no dreamers. No reports. No BS.
No checks, money orders, money grams or shipping scams.
No codes. Local pickup and Cash sale only!!!

Who cares - it's a nice looking bike - obviously taken care of - and a good classified for those interested in getting one of these.

I already have an '84 and an '86. Nice to see what an '85 looks like.....
