    Hey all!

I have a great old Two Bros alumnium muffler that I run on a high mount midpipe on my 2000 VFR800 in conjunction with a full Two Bros header.

I want to move this muffler to a low mount position so that I can mount my Corbin Beetle Bags on the bike.

Does anyone have for sale a Two Bros low mount midpipe for a 5th gen that they would sell? It would be cut solid on both ends, have hooks for springs on both ends, and probably only have one bend in the pipe. The ID of the pipe is just over 2".

I am located in the US and would love a comment followed up by a PM if you have one for sale. Thanks!

IIRC, the high mount and low mount versions of the TBros header had different exit angles, so the mid pipes may not be directly compatible.

Right, I'm thinking of the OEM header exit vs. the TBros. I have a high mount TBros and tried a OEM muffle and a couple of slip-ons made for the OEM header and you end up with the silencer splayed out 30 degrees away from the bike.

Fortunately my Wolf system had enough play to mount up to the TBros.

Oh yeah? I've figured something out with a butt-connector type of exhaust clamp but would prefer the Two Bros easy on and off type of pipe with the springs if possible without spending silly money.

    Hi:
Looks like I messed that up. I'll try again.

I had a similar problem trying to mount my two Brothers from my 4th Gen onto my 5th Gen. Granted its a stock header but its a straight pipe rather than flared as the 4th is. I ended up taking a flyer and ordering a mid pipe for a vfr800 Crossrunner from..............hold your breath. AliExpress. I'll post some pics to show you the pipe and installed. The welded loops lined up perfectly with the pipe and the welded angle for the centers tand stop did also. It did take a bit of finagling to line everything up, as in installing a bit loose then going around tightening while pulling it into place, but really was not any more effort than any other aftermarket can I've done. I did a write up on this on vfrd, so if you are a member there also, check out the 5th Gen thread. I'll see if I can link the AliExpress add also. Feel free to PM me, but I am on the road tomorrow for a week to attend a wedding, may be a day or two before I can get back to you. Good Luck.

This is what I bought. The specs listed were spot on, the material, stunningly, was non magnetic, so very good stainless. As mentioned read my write up in vfrd for a more complete explanation as I am struggling with my new phone. :)
