HifloFiltro HF112 for transmission filter?

    It's certainly worth a try, but given the risk I'd rather stick to OEM.
    Especially with the cost savings of DIY oil changes.

    I use HiFlo filters in all of my bikes.
    I've seen a few vids where a guy typically buys in a load of filters and then tears them apart to see what's inside, and HiFlo ones always seem to be scored highly.

    BTW I also have a 2015 1190 Adventure, with a HiFlo filter in it.
