I raced a 94 RS125 for a race weekend when I was swapping engines on the VF500 Race Bike. It was also legal in the Lightweight GP class I was in.

Stupid amazing. Directly wired to your brain. If you even thought about doing anything, the bike was already initiating it. Brakes were just the mere suggestion of one finger tip and were instantly "on". I almost ran into the infield of the first real corner cuz the bike fell in instantly.

Never forget it. And it allowed me to win the Championship. Which in the end didn't matter, as I clinched it before the last race. But it did matter. A lot.

Winning and duking it out with other racers is the best.

You are correct… I can imagine the racing itself is so very satisfying.
    I stand corrected.

I think I have a picture of me on the RS somewhere. I'll look for it later.

Not a real scan, a quick and dirty pic of a pic. I'm not a big guy and I was def smaller then, and I still look like I'm riding a mini-bike.

That bike was ridiculous. Could be off on the model year, but not by much.

I am on the fence about ARHMA racing. I feel like Dax Shepard from the CHiPs movie every morning lately. Broken this broken that...lol

Mike , looks like you left your wallet on the tail cowl.

I never raced on a track but man that looks like fun. I was at several super bike races ( in the infield ) when kz1000s, gs1000s and a few cbx’s would race at Ontario Race Track back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. MAN those guys would have to muscle those dinosaurs around turns… impressive. Those small bikes look like it would be a lot more fun..
    just sayin

Transponder velcro/zip tie pouch. They looked silly, but were effective. I used a transponder fork mount that much prettier later. I did start by just zip tying/velcro on the tail.

Hah! Old school dBcom transponder (that took a 9v battery), in a leather case.
