Long story short, it looks like I may need to get my leathers out of the closet. Lol priced to sell , semi local, some spares, and a fresh set of painted sharkskinz. Not my favorite body shape, but I won’t cry as much when I drop it. image.jpg
Still waiting on carb kit to complete the Hawk.

Always wanted a real race bike. I am aiming for AHRMA this year, but not stressed if my budget won't allow it. I just want to ride a pure race bike on dedicated tracks and feel like a real racer. I could give a shit where I finish, I just want to finish. lol

It will be a learning experience, but I am looking forward to it.

Need to clear some irons in the fire as well.

Hawk is nearly complete for the daughter.
VTR250 will be going on the lift right after the Hawk to get evaluated for parts to order.
VFR750 proj is getting pushed back until VTR is done. Some parts in hand. I want to take my time on this one.

Then some selling off.... to pay for tracking.

Since we need more photos all you get is my ride into work this morning. Fooking weather. It was 61 and sunny at my house....43 and foggy at work...grrr

Your sentiments about the bike mirrored mine when I got to race the RS. "Fuck. This is a real HRC race bike. Cool."

And you feel it. It is sharp and precise. So awesome.

    So stoked for you.

Thanks dude! It was a shocking find so close and price wise. I had already told my wife I am only going to attempt to race with a real race bike. No suped up street bikes. The seller and I were discussing that when I am done the bike will get hung on the wall. hahaha

^^ RC24dk - The weight and power is mind blowing. On the short test ride, I just thought it and it turned with plenty of ummf.

Yeah, that's what blew my mind. Just think about considering doing something and the bike has already initiated it. And the goddam brakes, just hover one finger of leather somewhere near the brake lever and it is STOPPING. Alarmingly stopping.

The lightest feeling bike I have tried was a RD350 YPVS version. That was a fun little thing to ride. This one weighs half of that.
Wow! It must feel like flying. Take care :)
