Very off. That front white stripe is bizarre. The yellow number plate angle that works on Freddie's NS is because the stripes are at that angle. It needs number plates like the NS400R, but a tad higher. Rear stripes shouldn't terminate in a point. They either end near the back or preferably wrap around the taillight.

This is all basic 80's Honda stuff here people.

The front cowl starts very poorly with it's angles and red.. I am a red person, but no... just no. Too late 6, I'm driving already. lol JK. That is a 3k paint job that I don't have, but it could sit in the corner not taking up any more space than my RS I haven't even rode yet. :(

Yea 3k … that’s why it would be a 2 year project for me. I am considering it but I’m just done with bringing back zombie bikes. If the paint was good I think I would have picked it up but then the price would probably be higher!

If anyone has reservations about how the engine sounds on video, listen to these. This is partially for science, partially cuz I'm bored and partially cuz it's Taco Tuesday and Sarah had delivered me a Margarita in the shop.

This thing... (the RestoMod 86 VF1000R)
    PXL_20241103_220844868.jpg
sounds tight as shit and sweet in person, but sounds like a fucking tractor about ready to throw a rod on GoPro (and phone) audio...

Video never does a motorcycle justice. I was jonesin to show my wife my very first race video in '07 and upon playback we were both like..."and what is so exciting?". Sounded like a scooter with no lean angle. lol

Big Red is still the gold standard in the garage. She sounds absolutely MotoGP. But funny enough, I can barely hear the pipes on a canyon ride. Might just be the best system ever. Amazing in the parking lot and less stressing on the ride.

Those are pretty sweet looking in the right color, nice Capt! I can't stop looking at the great lines on bike. The tail is my favorite. Say 500 Grand Prix
