Well my 85 Interceptor is finally back together. I had the cam/follower failure years ago and I finally got around to sending the cams and followers out to MegaCycle for hardwelding and regrind. So the original radiator has been sitting dry for years and I am sure it is not going to be optimum. I will take a shot at cleaning it(suggestions Of what works) but I would like to know if anyone has fitted an aluminum replacement.

A radiator shop is probably the best bet. They will hot tank clean and repair any pinholes if it fails a pressure test. At least the one I go to does.

Yeah, I'm lucky to have have a true old-school rad shop near me. They will take care of it if you have one in your area.
