Looking for 2014 or newer VFR1200F with panniers. I have a pristine 2003 Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird with OEM panniers that I’m willing to trade. Located in NW Oregon.

That's true, the XX is still a bike that I aspire to owning one day but I suspect the ride position might be too much for ageing wrists.

Is there a reason you want a 2014 or later VFR? AFAIK they changed significantly in the 2012 year and then no more changes were made. The 2012 includes a (slightly) larger fuel tank, traction control and some FI changes.

Turns out there’s no reason. Looks like the increased tank size is negligible. Not interested in traction control. Looking at a 2010 right now.

I hope you keep your Blackbird as well. I think I need one of those beauties.

Me too. More of a want than a need. And I don't know where I would put that beast.

Looks like I have a deal on a 2010 VFR1200F. Still working on the logistics.

It will be interesting to hear your thoughts on how the CBR and the VFR compare. On my 2015 I can tell that the RBW throttle is quite retarded at low gears, and supposedly the earlier bikes had even more of that, but it can really fly when the revs are up, much more than I really know what to do with.
