I think this is good news. I don't see any cracks but one of the rollers seemed to be a bit gunked up (where my finger is pointing 4th pic down), so maybe that's the culprit.

Thanks...maybe buy some lottery tickets tomorrow?

Or would that be pushing it...lol...

Just got in from a nice night ride too - took the Blue bike with the jet rocket exhaust pipes over to my storage unit and rode my e-bike back home. 5 mile ride each way. Zero issues but I will have to put some new tires on it! The Blue bike - not the E-bike. ;)

Tomorrow I hope to get this White one going again. Thinking I may need to swap out the carbs so we'll see...hopefully at least the starter issue will go away!

Thanks again for all the help - stay tuned.....:)

Funny thing is - the fuel tank is off that bike and the fuel pump disconnected - so it was running on whatever fuel it had in the bowls, I guess..

Looking closely on the pictures It does seem to have weak spot where a crack is initiated - even if it works for now its good to have an open eyefor a good deal on a replacement. I also wonder if anyone have attempted repair by brazing. Welding will hardly work well on this kind of steel and also give unacceptable distortions.
