20260424_190631.jpg 20260424_190641.jpg I’ve got a few things to clean up and some of you may want to follow along.

Had a successful trip to the DMV and now I’m legal to ride. Oregon just initiate a motorcycle plate for Veterans, so I probably swap it out later this year.

Happy with the OEM exhaust on the bike. The Hotbodies MGP silencer was too loud for me. I have been eyeing a couple Akrapovic slip-0ns….we’ll see.

Bike seemed to be a little slow cranking, so I checked the CCA and it was 147. Should be around 300. New battery enroute. I also have some scratches on the LH mirror and engine case, so those are also on the way. I’ll also be swapping in the OEM windscreen, changing the oil, flushing the brakes and cooling system.

Got the oil & filter changed yesterday along with the air filter. It had a K&N filter that I'm not a fan of, so back to OEM Honda. Changed out the Zero Gravity smoked windscreen for the stock clear unit. Partzilla sent me the wrong battery, so that I'll be going back today and correct one is on its way.

Going over the maintenance records I could not find where the plugs were changed. Getting all the plastics off is a chore I didn't want to repeat anytime soon. No one locally had the plugs so Amazon to the rescue. Can't believe they are $20 a piece!

Also got the RH clutch cover and mirror cover changed out. The book calls for Three Bond on the clutch cover. Not sure why they don't reference one of the Hondabond products...anyhow that's what I used.
