Cleaning out fuel tanks

    I filled this one up with ER today. Put a rubber plug in the drain at the cap opening so I could get the solution all the way up and above the fill lip. I normally put the tank in my big tub, but took a shortcut today. No leaking so far!

    Not sure about your experience, but don't leave the EV on the nice painted surfaces. I missed a spot that dried on the nice paint and etched the paint. Now I keep towels and cleaners next to my work. hahaha

    Thanks, I usually wipe the tank with a damp cloth before leaving it - especially if any spilled on the paint. I use a big funnel today and didn't spill a drop! :)

    This is the objective......the opening completely submerged by the ER. You have to put a plug in that drain hole.....
