Hey y'all. Mark from South Mississippi. I've been riding for about 4 years, first bike was an 85 Magna V45 (VF700C). I had an ST1300 for about 2 years and put 40K miles on before trading it in on a Goldwing. I've been missing that V4 ever since, so I bought a 2010 VFR1200F in early April,

I'm so glad to be back astride a big, burly Honda V4 - the sound and the torque are intoxicating. I've already put 2K miles on the bike, and I will definitely be keeping this one around long term.

Welcome Mark, 2000 miles since April is good going. The 1200 is pretty different to the ST, did you know that Honda had planned to replace the ST with a VFR1200-based ST bike? Sadly, the 1200F wasn't well received and they shelved the project. I have owned a couple of the ST1300s and there's not much that can beat the easy-going nature and ride position, but I find the 1200 to be much more stable in wind and a lot cooler to ride. honda_vfr1200t_2010_06.jpg
