Since I don't have the original petcock lever and my amazon unit is way too long, I found a 3D printing file for this exact bike. Captured the file and had my friend print one. I will test it tonight. Hopefully I am one and done.

I wonder if you could epoxy a metal sleeve around the end that engages the petcock for some twisting reinforcement to avoid a "blowout" at the boss on the petcock and some distance back.

You could leave the end “open” and have it ready for a metal insert. Just need a square female m4 thread, er m5 … that is what my Amazon special had, but the stalk was too thick and too long, if you played shopper im sure you would find the right fitment, after $100 of Amazon guessing.
I gave mine a white tip for visibility. Works nicely. The mater has some carbon in it I believe so strength might not be a problem. image.jpg

I am actually kinda sad. She looks so nice and runs so well, but I don't think I would really ever ride the bike. Once I get out of the immediate 8-10 miles the speed required to stay safe is too high. The Hawks kinda struggle with this as well.
I have some parts sorting, but then it will be off to the market. I will post what is available just in case anyone here needs parts not named Capt. ;)
