I purchased this bike in a lot with 10 other motorcycles. I found a thread here from the previous owner who had it listed here for sale. I linked it for additional information and history.

    https://vfrworld.com/threads/1994-honda-vfr750-with-huge-parts-lot.61766/

1994 Honda VFR750F 41,000 miles. Brand new AGM battery. It starts and runs great and there are no known issues with this bike (even the dash clock works!).

Rare Full Thurn Motorsport Fairing, Upper, mids with integrated lowers, and the thinner tail section with integrated taillights, red running and brake, either side blinks orange for turn signals.

Stock exhaust with Wolfe high mount muffler. C-N-R adjustable levers, jet kit, VFR800 mirrors without boots, passenger hand grabs (not on the bike) and LOTS of spare parts.

The rear Thurn fiberglass seat cover has a small defect that went unnoticed when painted and now looks like a chip. It's an easy fix.

I also have lots receipts dating back as far as 2006 from the previous owner. Receipts for the fairing totaling $3400. The fairing was ordered and shipped from Germany 2008/2009.

$3500 obo and willing to help with shipping logistics. You can PM me here or email springart@yahoo.com

Forth of July special, this weekend only and only for the forum. $3000 firm

To be honest, I thought there would be more interest here based on the old thread. Now it's running, cleaned up beautiful and looks great. Tons of extra's.

Next stop is bring a trailer.

One last offer, due to the cost of shipping the parts, Bike Only, no parts that make shipping too expensive. The bike is running and easy to ship.

Still working on getting everything ready for Bring a Trailer BUT would really like to see it go to a VFR enthusiast.

So if anyone is truly interested, this is the best possible deal I can make. $2500 Bike Only and we will help with any shipping logistics. We can deliver to a local shipping depot within 50 miles if necessary and do any prep work for shipping.

We had a conversation on the phone and discussed approximate shipping costs. You would have to find shipping if you are still interested. I am more than happy help with shipping in the form of being available for a shipping company, willing to deliver to a depot for shipping purposes, making sure it is running for a shipping company since running bikes cost less to ship, or even try to find info on shipping companies, etc.

I even made sure you knew that I would package any or all of the parts for shipping and ship them separate if they are wanted. You mentioned interest in the spare motor and I gave you options. Ultimately you decided not to continue to pursue a purchase. If you are still interested, as explained on the phone, hiring a shipper is up to you so there would be no reason for me to find a cost for shipping. I also offered to find some companies names that you could call about shipping.

If there was some sort of misunderstanding from the conversation when you said that you weren't coming here to pick it up and it was too expensive to ship and I misinterpreted that to mean you did not want it then feel free to give me a call to make other arrangements. You do still have my number correct?

I wasn't offended but the question took me by surprise suggesting you were waiting on me from a conversation 3 weeks ago. In my experience the buyer arranges shipping for vehicles and keeps the seller out of that part. Then if anything happens during shipping there is no middleman. I will do anything I can to help facilitate the shipping, including taking a bunch of pictures of the condition "as loaded" on the truck for documentation.

The biggest issue is you are 2800 miles away and nothing is going to be "cheap". I'd think anything under $1000 for that distance would be a reasonable price. One of the links I posted is UShip and I read some reddit stories of people that used them. I think the way it works is anyone can bid on a job. If there is someone traveling between the 2 locations they can bid. The stories included people picking up bikes with Vans or Pickup trucks and delivering them. That seemed sketchy to me however all the stories seemed to end well but I'd never want to be in the middle of that transaction.

It's the responsibility of the buyer to do all of the research regarding shipping a bike. It's yours when it loads onto the truck. FOB Origin. This isn't like a some part for a bike where the seller has the dimensions and weight and is getting quotes. And those cases, it is the seller purchasing the shipping and holding responsibility. FOB Destination.

The seller can be really cool about helping facilitate logistics, but ultimately it's the the buyers job. I would never trust a seller to have my best interests in mind regarding shipping a bike, regardless of how cool and accommodating they are.

Shipping a bike is nerve racking. Have done it twice and I hated it. Neither bike made it 100% cool. The best scenario, and the one worth paying for, is the one where the truck your bike is loaded on is the one pulls up and is unloaded from. Sometimes it's a different driver, but the bike has never moved.

I thought the question was strange too, linkken.

The Capt is right about who's responsibility it is.

I've had half a dozen or more transports and everyone was great, except I hated having to pay the transport cost on top of the bike's cost. But that's no reflection on the process.

The last one was brought from Arizona to Florida at a cost of $1,400. Most of the other transports were along the East Coast and therefore less money - under $1K, anyway.

BTW, I called Kaplan not long ago - they are in Ct. - and asked who they could recommend and they gave me this person:

    James Waterman, 860-305-4027

I think he's their main driver who hauls their bikes. If you've ever watched any of their truckload delivery vids - he's in some of them.

I have a guy I use just for the East Coast and he's been great.

I don't see myself doing any more buying for a while. I have too many bikes as it is and am trying to address a diminishing bank account with the storage units costs I have. But am happy to pass along any information if it helps.

Lastly, much respect to @Springer- for his offer to help with transport. Especially with all the spare parts! Whenever I got spare parts with my bike purchases I always sweated getting those packed and delivered properly. Every single seller was fantastic in that regard.

Here's a 3 bike transport I got last year. Both ones on the right and the one at the front on the left side.

    Very cool!
    Thanks all you guys!!
I have been interested in TAHT bike with the spare engine since the other guy listed it here?
I was just curious, per our telephone conversation, if there was a known cost for the shipping??
I would love to have that bike and an extra motor was a good bonus, I thought !!!
Shipping the bike alone sounds too expensive and a gamble I don't really want to take???

... would still LOVE to have a spare cam driven V4 though
