1984 Honda VFR 500 Interceptor: Iconic rice rocket. 18,500 miles, very original. Recent work: Complete carb rebuild, valve adjust. Coolant, brake fluid, oil change. New battery, air filter, rebuilt clutch slave cylinder, new fuel pump relay, fuel lines, fuel filter. Cables lubed, chain adjusted, monoschock checked and tight. Starts instantly, runs great, handles fantastic, doesn’t look to have ever been crashed. Body work, upholstery, chrome & paint very good, with one small dent in tank. Overall, I would rate this classic, collectible bike as VG (very good). On the fun scale, it is off the charts!
Cool 1984 VF500F "Crashed" can have some nuances, but the bike has been down on both sides. The right side event had enough movement/spin to scrape the length of the muffler and get the edge/corner of the upper cowl. After downloading the (low rez) pics and zooming in, "Body work... ...very good" is pushing the limits of what that usually means. Even for a 40 year old bike. Seat is from a 1985 Is this the same bike you inquired about the fuel pump last year and then never returned with a comment or update? Good luck with sale.
