6th Gen headlight relays and wiring question [Answered]

I need to understand how the previous owner installed his HID low beam lamps (with ballasts and igniters). In the video I describe what I "think" he did, but I could easily be wrong. If I'm not getting it right, please let me know if you have an idea.

I 'have' figured out that he did install the power jack. It was likely for a heated jacket or something.
I'm still stumped as to why he grounded the turn signal position relay the way he did.

I plan on finding a new low beam relay and plugging things back in.

Problem solved

I guess I figured it out correctly.
I pulled out the jumper wires from low-beam relay connector. Then I took out the hi-beam relay and put it in the low beam relay connector.

I now have lights and can get rid of all the shit he stuffed in there. Going with LEDs.

Learned a few things. The relays are all called starter relays. There are 4 of them. Two are labeled- Suspension/starter. "Suspension" means a rubber holder with a slot so it "hangs" on a bracket tang. The relays are Mitsuba RC-2208. The other thing is, don't let the parts guy tell you there are no headlight relays.

You can buy them with rubber mount, but shipping costs and delivery times go way up.

 

Honda has been using those same relays since forever, and they rarely go bad. Should be easy to find on eBay?
