Bike for Sale Gen 5, 2000 possibly for sale as "complete" basket

Haven't been on the forum since I finished my last VFR project about 15 years ago. I'm thinning the stable and moving out some potential project bikes that I will likely never get to. Before I go crazy cleaning up this old Gen 5, snapping pictures for a listing, etc., I'd like to see if there's any interest out there. Here's a few details:
Location: near Gainesville FL
2000 VFR 800 that was originally yellow. Clear title in my safe. PO had dropped the bike at low speed and grenaded most of the plastics. I scrounged a complete set of red plastics and did repair a couple of small stress cracks on that set. Bike is essentially in stock form. No engine mods. About the only thing I can think of that's not stock is the Staintune can that came on it. I don't have the stock exhaust anymore. The bike ran fine when parked. Fuel was drained and cylinders were top oiled. The rear tire is badly cracked, but I have a new one on the way. Other than that, it's just a dusty, dirty, partly un-assembled basket case right now.
If anyone is interested, please let me know, and I'll drag the old dog out and clean it up for some photos.

Never had a 'Blade. Great machines. I was into VFR's for awhile, and my younger days came calling. Played with XL600R's for a time, and now I burn up hours fooling with 750F's and 900F's from the early 80's. Maybe I suffer from a complete lack of focus.
Considering what I have now and what I've owned in the past, it's funny that my first choice to jump on and go is an XR650L. I guess I've developed a disdain for electronics and tech.

 

There are worse hobbies.
