It's gonna look ugly no matter what you do. Find a fairing and it will look good.

you can find fighter headlight kits online.

dual round headlights look cool in my book for a fighter

you are going to need a way to hang turn signals too

    and bar-end mirrors

and if you want a cleaner look, you'll probably want a better dash too.

    some fighter parts here:

yeah, for a fighter, i have been on a few sites and checked them out, dual headlights, remove fairing, make sure engine is cleaned if not powdercoated, polish frame, make yourself a custom tail section out of fiberglass. the possiblities are endless with your bike....my father onces told me, the only limitation is your imagination....check out www.customfighters.com, really cool fighter website and some great how-tos. that will give you some major ideas.

I used universal headlight brackets($12.00) a CM400 headlight with bulb ($20), springy turn signals ($35?)-which fit in the universal headlight brackets. Ground the fairing mounts down. I drilled two holes into a 1" x 4" x 1/8" flat stock bent it at about a 120 degree angle like \_ and mounted a speedometer from an old honda with an 18" front tire then mounted to triple clamp upper bolt. Speedometer is approx- 10-20KMs an hour off. Rerouted fan sensor, cut off the tang and installed a switch to manually engage fans.

I'll try to get pics of it. It works well and looks cool. Wind kills ya, but when your doin' 200, who cares. It is impossimble to find an speedo for a 16" front tire.

    Cheers

I may be getting off subject here, but MOPAR Junky do you own any MOPARS. I'm a huge fan of the Mopar musclecars.

That's the first time somebody has asked.

    I had a '69 RoadRunner when I was 15
    A '72 340 4 speed Duster when i was 17
And I was building a '66 Polara Drag car, but school started and it had to go.
I still have the 440 block, TCI race trans, and all little gadgets and whatnot.

The RoadRunner was fast, but never made it on the road(I was 15)
I ran the Duster without registration or safety on the road. Manual steering and brakes were awesome. You could gun it around the corner slam it in 3rd-breaking your knuckles off the dash and slide across the bench seat.

Kids today don't even know about Mopars, there fun as hell and actually pretty cheap. Keys in the dash, pumpin' the gas to start it, parallel parking with a 4 speed and manual steering, and the rush of a big block and 4.10's.

I'm only into bikes, because they were cheaper on gas going to school. I'm done school now and starting work as a millwright in 2 weeks, so I'll be back into them in no time.

By the time I'm 20, I'll buy myself a 'Runner again.

    Take care.

well I'm not worried about front blinkers because i do not need them here in Az. my biggest worry is hiding the wireing and mounting the head light but thanks for all the info I'll check out the sites

I think proper word would be a café racer for those bikes, most Brits would call it that, but what do they know from across the pond.

You don't need helmets either in AZ, but how smart is it to ride without one ?? It's NOT !

You're on a bike, not a car, and you need indicators, mirrors, and a helmet for your safety ! Always.

Pcohen....... nicest version of a fairingless bike of this gen I've seen. That headlight encasement is clean and functional and your paint scheme is very classy. Thanks for the vid.
