looks like she's gonna be red, white and blue. with some new school flair. thinking maybe adding white stars where the stripe goes from front to rear.

I just bought a 98, I like the rounded gen 5 lines vs angular lines of the gen 6.
I wanted blue, but really happy with red!

I have a red 6th Generation 04 VFR800. Bought it about 18 months ago with 2,400 miles on it, it now has over 11,000 miles on it.

Used mostly as a freeway commuter, and almost completely stock untill now. I wanted to get used to it before I did any changes, besides, it runs so well there was little need to modify.

Now it is getting new tires, chain, brakes, power commander, heated grips and possibly some more stuff. Great bike!

    My blue 2000

Bought my Viffer just over 12 months ago when I decided after 15 years without a bike that it was high time to scratch that itch. Strangely I didnt immediatly jump to the idea of a VFR (ZX9 was looking real good) but when I heard my neighbours 05 with the staggered laser pipes I was hooked.

So far she has been given a smoked touring screen, anodized fasteners, fuel catalyst, headlight protector. Came with sports can, tank cover and bag, ventura rack and both soft bags.

    Bliss.

I just purchased my 06 VFR800 Black about 2 months ago off the showroom floor. At first I wasn't that happy with it :frown: since I was riding a CBR F4i 600...now I would not trade for the world!!!
Now that I'm planning on keeping it, I started to do some modifacations.
Pics are in the gallery of all mods and will add more.

    Mods
    VFR handle grips
Triple yoke carbon fiber look protector
    Magnite magnetic tank protector
    Fender eliminator
    Motovation frame sliders
    Staintune exhaust on order

I ride a yellow 2000 and love it. Rented a 2007 last year for a two week tour of England and the Isle of Man and still like my 2000 better. Love the cam sound!
