Those are some pretty sweet wheels! I have been eyeing them up for awhile now. The price tag is the only thing holding me back.

that's pretty sweet. I may have to go for those next year... that would be awesome... my bike would have twice as much in accessories as I paid for it.

The wheels are certainly a thing of beauty, aren't the stock 5th gen wheels
forged? I dont know about these spicific wheels, however I have read where hitting a small pot hole will often distort lightweight racing style wheels. With all that said I wish I could justify the case for buying those things. eddie

Thread from the dead. I was just on their site and Googled Carrozzeria VFR and found this. How do I move the exhaust to show off this aluminum eye candy? I'm definitely putting this on my list of things to look into. $1900 for the bike, $3000 for the wheels???

They take away from the pristine stocker look and probably devalue the worth of the bike too.

I have contacted my local landfill conrtractor and if anyone want's to dispose of a set of these for a 1991, PM me. This is my way of sharing.

Before you order those you need to install a stretched swingarm.

And swap out your motogear for the following items:

The improvement in handling would be very noticeable and beneficial. Of course, you could just keep your bike as a two wheeled motorhome too.

The gunmetal color is pretty nice. Just looking at those wheels gave me an idea for a color scheme.

What was the weight savings? Less rotational mass.

That wouldn't surprise me, as this thread is originally from 2008.

The thread either here or over at VFRD where the OP put a 2014 wheel on his 6TH gen was pretty nice too. Such a beautiful wheel, then they hide it with the exhaust. SMH @ Honda.

Yep, from what I found out they are no longer around, was the hot set up. "IF" you could afford them, $2600 for just wheels back then. I tried back then to get a handle on the hub as it was their design for a single nut conversion, no dice. But yea for the money Oommm.. not so sure they are the shits they claim to be. Anyone ever actually see em on a VFR? I've only seen photos, and they where on bikes from Europe

At least one person had them, there were some old threads showing them, might have been on VFRD though.
