Any recommendations for a new windscreen for an 04 VFR? I have looked at the ZG double bubble but not sure of how it will look on and perform. Any experience or info with either ZG and or other products would be great. Not a huge fan of the look of the stock and the wind typically hits me low part of helmet unless tucked down tight. I typically am more on the sport side rather than tour side as well (ie not a long hauler about 300 hundred miles on a good day).

    Thanks in advance....

I have a Targa Sport Screen on my 2000 and I very happy with it. It has the raised lip common to most aftermarket screens. It's also smoked instead of clear which goes a long way to improve the looks of the bike.

    KC-10 FE out...

You can also try Givi (at Giviusa.com). I just ordered one, but I'll be returning it and ordering a ZG sport-tour... which I didn't find out about until after I ordered the Givi.

    Givi vs ZG

Tim, Why are you going with the ZG vs the Givi?

Best reason is the size/shape of the ZG. I just recieved my ZG sport tour screen last night, and rode into work with it this morning. I've got a 45 mile commute on a straight, flat, WINDY road, and this new screen made a huge difference. The buffeting was much less, the overall smoothness of the ride was equivalent to a purpose built sport-tour bike (like the ST and FJR). It installed like a snap on my '05, has a light smoke tint that looks much better with the bike (good match for the dashboard), and it was actually a bit cheaper (due to a military discount). It had two stickers on each side with the brand name, but five minutes with a blow-drier and Goo Gone, and it's like they were never there. Back to your question, I switched from Givi to ZG simply because the ZG is larger... I really need the wind protection here in southern desolate New Mexico.

EDIT: If you check my gallery, you'll find four pictures of my bike with the new ZG screen. I love that thing! Best possible choice of windscreen for my situation.
