My 1995 vfr 750 will not start and backfires when trying to start.
The start is turning the motor.
I have emptied the gas and put clean gas in.
Put a new fuel filter on.
Cleaned the carbs as per the shop manual.
Checked to make sure the fule pump is working, it is.
I am at my wits end. Any Ideas?????

    Thank you in advance,
    Sick454

Backfire is usually a timing issue. With gear driven cams this seems unlikely... Have you checked the plugs to see if your getting fire? It has to be one of 3 things: 1. Air 2. Fuel 3. Fire
