I have a weird issue with my fuel gauge, it skips the one bar level and goes directly to the blinking bar (reserve) level. I can't really figure out what's wrong.

Did someone have this same problem too?

    Thanks for the help

My '00 does the same. Does not bother me, I just plan ahead and fill up then. I have never run out of gas.

Thats what my 99 does, two bars and then one blinking. I always thought that this was normal. The one bar has never been steady.

I was thinking about that yesterday in the middle of the pouring rain when the gauge started blinking :frusty:.

Well, if it is "normal" I won't bother too much, I just have to be careful because 2 bars now mean almost in reserve. By the way, how many liters does the tank have? I could only manage to put in 18 liters yesterday, so I guess it should have about 3 for the reserve (I read that the bike is supposed to have a 21 lit capacity).

    Cheers

I fill up the tank and rode about 20 miles and the gage shown 1/3 of the tanks is gone. Seem like this is common problem on the gage
