Yes! Do what LGN says and ride like the wind. Stop over here in Tucson and I'll feed you and you can help me plant some trees before we send you off on your way. Seriously though, welcome to the Forum. You will find some good info here. You have some good riding there in Virginia. (I grew up in Bethesda, MD and used to vacation at Chincoteague.)
Now that would be an interesting road trip. Across the country in a few weeks stopping at other VFR owners houses for food and drink....
THAT'S IT!!! I thinl PARedVFRRIDER has an idea! :clap2: How about that? I have seen a bit of that sort of thing on this and other forums...usually voiced in a "I'll be coming through such-and-such at the end of the month...can anyone put me up for a night..." Especially if one was camping on the trip, wouldn't it be nice to stop at a real home for a shower and some laundry and a good home cooked meal? (Of Course, can you just see DerStuka at your house...like the old Saturday Night Live sketch..."The THING that wouldn't LEAVE"...ya got any more potato chips? Can I borrow your VFR for some burnouts?) (I am JOKING Dive Bomber...I bet your mama trained you well...)
