Well I finally drove out to East Toledo Honda in Maumee Ohio to pick up my new RWB. Seems like a nice dealership, everyone was friendly and helpful. First time I have ever trailered a bike for any reason, was a bit nervous about it, more about possible damage from a strap than anything else. Salesman loaded it up for me, even gave me some short lead straps that he put on the forks to ease the whole procedure and keep the tie downs away from the outside of the fairings. Got her home safe and sound last night, now just need the weather to cooperate.

There is nothing like getting a new bike. Congratulations on your new addition. I look forward to hearing about your riding impressions once the weather comes around.

Congratulations! They are nice to look at. The friendly young CA Highway Patrol officer who wrote me a speeding ticket last week commented on the nice paint job, and how it reminded him of the early Interceptors...

Yes, Ebay. I was there saturday morning about 11am. Saw a lot of people picking up bikes, they were pretty busy at the dealership.

Congratulations on the bike. I, too, just picked up an 07 VFR (non-ABS) in the candy red color. They are gorgeous bikes. Stay safe, dude.

    Me Three

I also shopped around locally and then got my RWB at Honda East Toledo in February, which is only 2 hours away...I very was impressed with the dealership. Only bummer was if i had waited I could have scored the ABS/RWB for less then I paid 3 weeks earlier for the non-abs. Honda cleared them out and Honda East auctioned them on EBAY...
Logged my first 100 miles this week - very nice riding bike, turns easy, even slow parking lot stuff. Torque is good from about 3k up. Haven't worked it hard yet..anxious to see what it'll do when i get it past break-in:smile: Sounds like there may be quite a few RWBs in the MI-OH-IN area

What did you guys end up paying for the 07 rwb?

I got mine Feb 23rd and got a 07 rwb non-abs for $8800. I went straight to the dealer and didnt do the ebay thing?

Just curious to see if I could have gotten an even better deal!

When I put a deposit down they had them listed on their website for $8899 w/ABS and ebay as a buy it now price of $8899. I just went thru the dealer website, I never win at ebay and didn't want to miss out on a good price. The others i found all were farther away and a higher price. I did watch the auction and the first one ended with reserve not met, I believe it was only a couple hundo less then the 8899 so I figured the reserve was probably the buy it price. I think it worked out well
