Charging Issues

    2004 VFR800 had bad regulator and replaced with new. Ever since then the wire going to the main fuse (red with white tracer) gets extremely hot and it only does that when the Regulator is plugged in and does NOT pop the main fuse. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

    There is a wiring recall on the 6th gen - first go to the dealer and check it out. Then do a read this site - www.wiremybike.com - He seems to have a handle on VFR bike wiring.

    Thanks I did find out that wire harness recall was not done on my bike yet so its on its way to the dealer. Thanks for all the help.
