Had an unfortunate accident on an ice patch in a parking lot about a month ago and dumped it almost sitting still (how stupid) .

Anyway I broke the throttle grip and need to replace it. I have the new one, but the cables appear to be too tight to get them both in. Do the cables have to be disconnected from the throttle linkage for this install or is there a trick to getting them on? Please help if you can, warm weather is here and I am dying to get her out.

    Thanks

Maybe they are out of there spots in the carbs or FI linkage. Might have to take the tank and air cleaner off to check......
