I'm currently using the Throttlemeister on my 03.

Nice, clean install, effective and easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Just installed the NEP on mine. also cut off stock grips and put pro grip gel grips. cost 30 for both (20 for throttle lock and 10 for grips). here is a link from another thread i used when i wanted mine. http://vfrworld.com/forums/sixth-generation-2002-2007/11969-cruise-control-throttle-lock.html

here is the link of where I got the nep. it works great bu is kind of made cheesey http://www.ridenow.com/product/detail/NEPlocks.aspx

its model cc-3 for duel throttle cable bikes. hopes this info helps you out.

I have had the Audiovox CCS-100 installed for about 3 weeks now and there is nothing better. It takes a solid day if not more to install it, but works just like the CC on my auto.

Throttle locks are ok but when going up hill or down the speed changes and it drives me nuts, with the CC it is steady and I can switch hands or go with no hands for a break.

I just got back from a 12 hour ride and can say the throttlemeister worked really well for me. The adjustment for hills etc. seemed very minor, and I had my bike loaded down with the two hard bags and a tank bag.
