I hate to say it, but when Bill was Commander in Chief we had the BEST PEACETIME ECONOMIC ERA EVER!!! Jobs were up, unemployment was at a record low, we had a FED Reserve surplus, not Deficit, and there was no doom and gloom on the horizon. Not to say that some things were a long time in the coming. Im not politically affiliated with any party, and cant say that I agree 100% with any candidate, I beleive in helping those who are in need, but also working and earning the things you want in life. Im all for Taxing or "penalizing" big american based business that outsources employment to 3rd world countries, or China, who IMO are out to kill our kids, Taiwan and Mexico to line their already deep pockets even more. O.K so the products might cost a little more, Id pay it to keep our economy strong.

Im sorry Johnnyb, I thought it was Bush who ignored the impending attack refurendum that was presented to him before it went down. And clinton had OBL pinpointed but couldnt launch any missiles into his terrorist camp because the the prince of Saudi Arabia was in his company at the time, thwarting a war with Saudi Arabia for the greater good. I'm not sticking up for anyone, politics makes people lose their freaking mind so everyone will believe & say something different. These are my observations.

1) Clinton was a decent POTUS. Just like EVERY POTUS in US history, he did good things & he did bad things. I don't personally care for the man due to the ever present cloud of sleaze he left hanging over the White House. I don't care if you fed the entire world's starving population, when you bang an intern your daughter's age IN THE OVAL OFFICE, that's beyond reprehensible.

2) Clinton was handed OBL on a platter by the Saudi's in the mid 90's. He declined to take that offer for reasons that are un-clear to me to this day. His record on terrorism was spotty at best.

3) It is commonly known that the attack that was 9/11 was to take place during the 00 Presidential election, soley for the purpose of disrupting the election. The US got the drop on it so the attack was postponed. The 9/11 attack was then devised because the terrorists mistakenly believed the chaos resulting from the election fiasco was a sign that the USofA & then new POTUS Bush were weak & could be exploited. Boy, were they wrong.

4) POTUS Bush took the fight to the enemy (terrorists), on their soil, for the first time since the Iran hostage crisis. Like him or not, POTUS Bush kicked ass in Afghanistan. I only wish the job would have been finished properly. One of the biggest weaknesses of the USofA (again, MY opinion & only MY opinion) is that we desire to turn right around & help the nations that we just stomped the crap out of. Examples include: Japan, Germany, former Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq. Had we just stomped a new ass into Afghanistan & let them all starve (since they have absolutely no economy other than opium), we could have sent a REALLY powerful message that the USofA IS NOT TO BE SCREWED WITH ON OUR OWN SOIL.

5) There was nothing wrong with going into Afghanistan or Iraq. Much like Vietnam, the manner in which the conflicts were persued was the problem. You have my 1000% guarantee that Iraq would still be in our faces (just in a different way) had we left Saddam Hussein to his devices. To say otherwise shows a complete lack of understanding of world politics. Look no farther than Iran for an example of this. They are currently acting like retards because they know the USofA is fantastically distracted with other matters. Make no mistake, if we "finish" in Iraq & have nothing on our plate, you can bet your ass Iran will play nicely with others. Why? Iran knows if we have nothing else distracting us, it would take less than a month to wipe out their ENTIRE military force.

6) We should have bombed Saudi Arabia into the stone age long ago. There's no one who could have stopped us from doing so. These people are not our allies, they just tolerate our existence. That's why USCENTCOM is now in Qatar & not SA.

7) Our association with Israel is a huge factor why the Islamic world hates us. We are their ally & the world of Islam hates them. As long as we are their ally, we we ALWAYS be at risk from Islam.

8) People who like to disrespect the POTUS (any of them), need to step back & realize that the POTUS has access to info that no one else does. The POTUS must make life & death decision on a daily basis. To say POTUS X is a retard & POTUS Y is awesome is pretty silly since I guarantee you couldn't do any better dealing with the matters at hand.

9) Hillary Clinton has been involved with POTUS Clinton's antics for the nearly half a century. She was with him during his White House years as well as all the nonsense before in Arkansas. That's enough political BS for two lifetimes. Now that she wants to get into the White House herself, that sets off alarm bells in my head. Since she's already dealt with all that crap previously & STILL wants to be POTUS, that tells me she wants the power, not the position. The very thought of her as POTUS asolutely TERRIFIES me.
