You were right the first time. It is an offensive term when it is used to describe your behavior. One of my subordinates used that term to describe the way he thought management ran the workplace. I proceeded to rip him a brand new asshole. How can he have a frigg'n clue how it was like living under that rule? Who was he to use the term in these circumstances when millions of people suffered through this brutality. And all due respect to your wife, I do not even remotely consider all German people to be Nazis at all.

Yep it may add fuel to the fire. Maybe is will spark some acknowledgments towards those who suffered and fought to suppress that regime. My parents did, both of whom are now gone

What's really sad is when I announced that I was getting married, a douchetard in my shop (this is when I was stationed at Ramstein AB) asked, "How can you marry a Nazi?"

Yeah... Right... Because my wife's mother wasn't born yet...

It cost $30,000 tax dollars per inmate, per year to house, feed, and guard them. Over 30% of all inmates in the US are in for non-violent drug offenses. 1st time offenders for crack, coke, herion, meth serve more time then sexual battery (not rape), Grand theft auto and B&E just to name a few. In several states marijuana is not seen any differently than the drugs listed above. I'm not going to try and claim that I know what we should do with these people but I do know that I don't want my tax dollars spent on them. I haven't smoked since going into EMS (8 yrs. ago) mostly because I get tested every time I walk into a correctional facility and randomly every three to four months for LACO and the DOT. If mari-jane becomes legal in my lifetime, I'll give up being an alcoholic and light up... but until then I'll abstain...

Vodka is my drink of choice... works quicker than beer.

Stats above can be checked out at, key words: breau of justice statistics
BTW, there are countless interesting and shocking legal stats on this site as well.....

Forgive me for offending you with my comment about NJ being a "Nazi" state.

You're absolutely right, drug attics are "scum" and I was wrong for using the word "Nazi." You're wise and now I can see how wrong I am. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.

Instead of debating the severity or fairness of a sentence for drugs, why not just not do drugs? Pretty simple if you ask me, I don't care one iota if a criminal feels his sentence is too severe for a drug conviction. It's not like it was a surprise when he/she got arrested. "Wait officer, drugs are illegal? I had no clue, I promise I wont do it again."

It's like they say, prison is full of people that say they didn't do anything wrong.

All is forgiven young Grasshopper. You are on a wise & noble path. :first:

I was kidding, it didn't offend me in the least.

Glad to hear you weren't offended because New Jesey is a Nazi state.

ah.... I get it, you know KC isnt such a bad guy tho, hes just a little uptight, but some peoples jobs make um that way, talk about a crazy world we live in. I got reprimanded on Fri by the big wig of a 50 mil $ const. co were doing work for, for something that I didnt even do, so I asked him if we could step outside to talk about it, he accomodated me, then I let him have it, then I called my boss. Im goin back there tommorrow to get a formal apology in front of everyone. Justice is served!

    V-For,

KC seems to be a good guy I'm just poking some fun at him. I really hope he sees there are other ways to think. Even if someone doesn't agree with the ideas it is still good to listen and respect them.

Now for my spelling, how can you look at my spelling when it seems that you use apostrophes like it costs you money.

    lol,

Now I'm kidding about that so don't send my cousins after me. I can't afford to feed them again.

Construction jobs can get real dicey at times. There was a big problem at the new mall near Giant stadium last week. Someone brought in a gun and was looking for the foreman that sent his brother up a ladder. The guy fell and broke his back. I guess his brother wanted a pound of flesh. I didn't hear how it turned out but deadlines can be very tense.
