Aftermarket Exhausts

    from my understanding it bolts right on you just loose your center stand which to me is no biggie. anyone one know where i could get a L/side exhaust system 90-97

    I think you just have to be patient. I waited a good while for the 94-97 header pipes for the sole purpose of opening up aftermarket avenues for the exhaust and not three weeks later saw a Yosh can for a '93 model - bolted right onto the swivel.

    In terms of new - I didn't have any luck with a left side system nor did I find any right side high mounts but I'm still looking.

    Ok,

    So I've found a metal fabricator who is willing to custom make a left hand pipe and flip my existing muffler bracket on my stock muffler. I'm thinking of having him shorten the muffler by about four inches as well. My thought is... it will be asthetically pleasing, sound better due to reduced baffle material, and weigh less.

    Does anyone know if I can get away with shortening it without causing any adverse effects on performance?
