" OzVFR Forums ", should be ok, note that it is " .net " , I used to know the site admin but he has since handed it over to someone in Perth.

If you have problems logging in or registering let me know and I'll post email on the OzVFR list to one of the moderators.

Hi I am new to the forum. My ride is a 2005 6th Gen. It is Blue and has a few farkles like UHF,GPS, Patch cable to cell phone via high gain ariel, runs a set of Staintune pipes a Honda topbox and Givi V35 panniers.
I am about to fit her out with a set of 4inch HID 35w 6000K Driving lights and a pair of Hella FF100 55watt halogens as a back up. . And down the track I intend to fit a Givi Vario Screen.
Now I hear tell that these bikes had some electrical issues, mind you when I had my 2002 model afew years back I was not a Farrider or member of your countries Iron Butt Association so farkling was not an issue.
I came across these blokes www.wireyourbike.com and have ordered the appopriate heavy duty parts plus some hid globes for the low beams. Seems this bloke has these VFR's covered pretty well.
Any one had any experience with long distance riding 9 I mean like a 1500miles in under 24hrs) and have accessories to enhance that activity? I'd be interested to hear from you.
