Hello, good sir. I will probably be in your neck of the woods around Memorial weekend (and the week following). Would you be interested in showing a fellow VFR enthusiast some good rides around your area? I'm new to VFRW, and still new-ish to VFRs, as well. I've had my 2000 yellow (Dorothy) for a year now, and I haven't done any long distance rides. I aim to fix that in May...
Erico will be leaving from the butcher block at 9am. I will be on my RWB and we are headed up golden gate canyon.
when i sell the bike,im putting the stock cans back on,if your shield is very minor damage ill consider it,do you have a photo ?
Seems it was just yesterday for me. We just had a family portrait done today. Daughter is 23 and son is 21. Of course I am only 35 . I was a horny youngsta. Wyatt is it? So you figure he is going to grow up with attitude do you? Wyatt Earpwas a bit of a rebel if history has his escaped recorded correctly. Enjoy.
A-stars waterproof touring boots. Thompson sucks. Always packed with traffic and few opportunities to safely pass with blind corners. Whenever a passing lane comes up, everyone suddenly speeds back up to 10mph over the speed limit. I'm not the fastest or most aggressive canyon carver out there but I still find myself frustrated on Thompson Canyon. Am heading out of town tomorrow on the VFR and won't be back for around a week. I don't expect to have much internet access. Peace!
Sweet. I haven't gone up the poudre yet. I went on a field trip with a high school geology field trip today (had to ride in the bus) but Big Thompson canyon looked good, although scary busy as always. What kind of boots did you get? I've been looking at some A-stars riding shoe/boot things, but I haven't lots of money so I may just stick with my burly hiking boots. Definitely going to get some riding over-pants though for the CE knee protection and hip padding.
I tool that same route we did again yesterday, unfortunately Rist Canyon is no better than it was. Stove Prairie still looks good, hopefully it stays that way. Anyway have a good one man and I'll see ya around
How is your new job going? I have tomorrow off and it looks like the weather will be nice. Message me if you have time and want to go for a ride.
Saw you are in CO, thought I would drop by and say Hi. I'm in FoCo. Can't wait for this wet weather to let up so I can head for the hills, although we need rain pretty bad. See ya around!
I'm no Yuppie, older than most of you , but with a passion for motorcycles, I've been riding for 42 years. I retired from the Airforce 10 yrs ago, the last 10 yrs my life has been quite fullfilling, doin' what I like.
