hey man. i have your same bike, and mine is haveing a bit of an issue. it won't idle. the screw is like all the way down, and it just barely won't idle. i've cleaned up the plugs, ran some cleaner through the carbs, got it to run, but now it just won't idle. but it's very close. i'm about clueless now. can you help?

70 in 55 and that's not bad considering how much ahem, faster I was going earlier that day. And of all places I got it way up in the border of north georgia so august 17 I gotta ride almost 2 hours to court. I'm gonna see if I can do a plea bargain for no points. My driving record's been spotless the past 7 years and I want to keep it that way :D

yeah 28 was a lot of fun! The soonest I can do another ride is August 8th. I gotta take a break, I went on another all-day ride today (sunday) and got a speeding ticket :-( But I'll be going to court and work my magic. So far I've gotten like 3 tickets dismissed so I'm not too worried about it!

No I was planing on get'n the carbs cleaned and compression check soon @ Ride shop in Woodstock. Do you know anything about their work? I refuse to let Motions touch it. They said they would work on it but the price is outrageous I think I will end up doing the clutch myself just to get to know my bike more. I can do easy stuff like brakes, fluids and chain, But have never opened a motorcycle case before. Shit aint going to go fy'n out at me is it? lol I can work on cars all day. But it will be first time I have done major work on a bike. That's why i had the 87 to learn with lol wives suck at times lol I'm going to do the starter and clutch at one time. Do you know of any good clutches/shift kits I could use?

Wow... Man I bet I am going to cry like a baby when I see it on the road. lol I really need to get my 93 up to par. I was racing a Mustang GT on the way back from Columbus I went from 5th to 6th and the clutch slipped. So he got me. I need to beef the bike up, any suggestions on a jet kit and other mods?

U said you have the bike strip'd down and was waiting on a new engine? So I was say'n was the original engine bad?

The bike will run it needs to have the tank boiled out and sealed and the front right caliper is bad but the rest is sound. I live right north of atlanta next to the tennessee border right under chattanooga. If u are still interested my number is 423-394-1328. LATER
