Well to be fair....those hoses can be very stubborn, no matter what physical condition you're in! o_O

I still use O-ring lube for the seals. Has worked just fine in the past. The first piston I put back together I put them in backwards....

May as well add....for reassembly, I like the white Silicone grease, vs the red rubber grease that is sometimes suggested. Just personal...
