I think that you're all too anal about this. Vehicles run just fine with a little more or a little less oil in them. Same with coolant....

Picked this up last November and never got around to fixing it up until now. Bought it for 300 bucks had to buy new carb boots, clean up the carbs 4 times haha, general clean up and a DIY paint job (it was gray and dented up, but bond-o fixed that problem, lol) Not too shabby in my opinion.
