My bike drops keep going up and my hair follicles keep going down.
Helibars did make a big difference for me. 6th generation bike even better on long rides after the first 20K miles, over 80K miles by now.

I guess the best you can do is keep an eye on the tachometer to make sure it is indeed a power dip to start isolating the issue.
