Can also spray WD-40 - the rpms will change if air leak
I'd also suggest that your idle jets are probably plugged and / or idle circuit is gummed up.
Condition, history and what I'm prepared to do on a bike are the most important factors to me. Condition sets the price.
I have one for my NC24 - VFR400 - no issues with fit & quality.
Technically the oil is still filtered however... just not retained in the engine
They are very good machines & NO they are not like the VFR. Ask yourself, how many 10 / 20 / 30 year old Triumph's do you see ?
I've also never had to add oil to any bike I've owned in 33 years (between services).
get the Honda ones then you can forget about it for another 35,000m (50,000km)
